Everyone was a little nervous when the “Bomb Cyclone” descended on Colorado last Wednesday. News reports were threatening hurricane force winds (as high as 70 mph in some areas!) and heavy snow. In our neck of the woods, residents and staff watched as rain quickly turned to snow, and the wind picked up and could be heard howling loudly. Several associates made trips in their four-wheel drive vehicles to ensure that other associates could make it to work safely. One of our drivers even stayed late to shuttle everyone home in our bus. The kitchen put together platters of cookies that managers delivered to all of the staff as a thank you for coming in and keeping everything running smoothly. Though it was cold and bitter outside, it was warm and cheerful inside, as our wonderful team banded together to help everyone weather the storm.
